Reading-level translatorBeing finished
Book Weaver
Any book your house holds, set at the reading level each reader needs.
What is seen
A chapter shown twice, side by side: as written, and rewritten at the reading level you chose.
What it does for your people
You see a chapter as it was written and, beside it, the same chapter set at the reading level you chose, paragraph by paragraph. A memory of earlier choices keeps the voice consistent across the book. A hard text can be met where the reader is, and interactive pieces can be added along the way. Under licence it carries your name, your domain and your colours, and keeps its records in a database of its own. It is being finished now, and can be shaped with you before it opens.
What white label means here
Book Weaver is the house's name for it. Under licence it takes yours. The people who use it see your name at the top, your domain in the address, your colours on the page, and never the house's.
- Your nameThe app is introduced as yours, on every screen they open.
- Your domainIt answers at an address you hold, so the link you give is the link they keep.
- Your recordsWhat your people write in it is kept in a database of its own, as yours, not pooled with anyone else's.
It is being finished. It can be finished with you, so that the version you carry is shaped by the people it is for.
What it includes
- Books, chapters and paragraphs
- Reading-level rewriting
- Translation memory
- Interactive elements
Who it is for
Publishers, schools and literacy programmes.
Read beside the field it serves, the school, the press and the author: A book that can be taught, under your imprint, in a room that reads like one.
What stands behind it
It was made beside the house's own press, which sets its books as issues of a magazine and keeps them in print for good.
The books it was made beside are kept in The Library, to be read before any conversation, so the voice the app speaks in is known first.
How a yes goes
- Read from The Library, so the voice behind Book Weaver is known before anything is asked.
- See Book Weaver beside the apps chosen with it for your field, below.
- Request a conversation. A few lines are enough: your name, your practice, and which app.
- The fitting: Book Weaver shown wearing your name and your colours.
- The terms, in sentences: what you keep, what it costs, and how you would leave.
- Live on your domain, with your people's records in a database of its own.
The terms are set in conversation with Ammanuel and written in sentences, never on this page.
